WeTransfer and the Thunderbird team have partnered to make the sharing and sending of big ideas easier than ever. This time, through email. The latest version of the Thunderbird email client built by the Thunderbird community under the Mozilla Foundation, now supports WeTransfer’s file-sharing service. This allows users to send up to 2GB of files for free: without leaving their email and without signing up for anything. The integration works by opening WeTransfer in the Thunderbird app whenever a user tries to send a large email attachment.
