Vikram Sheokand, an Aadhaar operator, had his biometrics stolen & misused. His biometrics were used in November 2018, at 3 bank branches from three different states. Listen in as he narrates the ordeal. This was supposed to be a ‘perfect’ system. That is the reason why all other systems were disrupted. Is it a complete failure & isn’t it thoroughly unfair to us? Can hackers misuse our Aadhaar biometrics? Is the Aadhaar system vulnerable? Is our Aadhaar data safe? Isn’t Vikram Sheokand’s case a proof that biometrics can be misused? Shouldn’t the UIDAI have addressed this? Is the government at any point open to rebuilding or re-engineering the Aadhaar database to fix the problems that it has faced? Shouldn’t the government stop pretending that this is fool-proof & Acknowledge that we have issues & start solving them?
