They redefined democracy as authoritarianism

democracy depends on empathy. caring about what other people feel. their interest cared or not.
republicans dont care about that.
if you are not talking about empathy, then you are not talking about democracy,

strict father morality. father decides what is right and wrong. authoritarian govt.
nurturing father morality.

there is nobody better than you, and you are not better than anybody else.

there are something that cannot be spoken in the media. its framing and its effects.
issues are framed. frames are largely unconscious. it has consequences. most frames are unconscious to most people. they see it is what is right or wrong. period.
if someone have an unconscious frame that they accepting then its consequences seems as just naturally correct. they are not aware of the frame that bring together all those consequences and that is a frame.
there are conflicting frames.
people work by frames. frames are unconscious and determinative great deal of your life. that idea is not in public discourse.
you have unconscious mental structures that tells you where you going. you cant access them consciously. experts can study those. people dont like the idea that they are reasoning and thinking acting everyday in life according to some mental structure that they dont know they had.

frames are unconscious mostly. that you dont know you are adapting a frame.
framing should be overtly study.
journalists think that chasing the ball and bring it back to the readers. but no discussion about who is throwing these balls. may be we shouldnt chase the ball.
idea of framing should be out there as part of understanding everyday news. arbitrary decisions of editors cannot be used as a solution. public understanding is needed what is involved.
framing should be news. there should be news about framing.
media sells because of fear.
fear for yourself or it is fearful for someone else.
what sells is on tv.
are you reporting saying you should be afraid. there probably a good reason to be fear, watchout.
