In the heart of Dayton’s Twin Towers neighborhood, a once-neglected stretch of land has been transformed into a hub of growth and opportunity thanks to the work of the Mission of Mary Cooperative.
The nonprofit has turned five acres of previously vacant land into a flourishing urban farm that provides fresh produce to the community while addressing the root causes of food insecurity.
The cooperative grows up to 120 types of produce, but its focus extends beyond the harvest.
