Big Tech has big power over freedom of expression—and that is a big problem.

Over the last several months, it has become quite apparent that Facebook and Twitter exercise an inordinate amount of control over the news and ideas we are exposed to. In the wake of the Capitol Hill riots by the far right, Big Tech companies took the unprecedented step of deplatforming the sitting president of the United States and ramping up their powers of censorship.
