Hundreds of Aadhaar cards found floating in Oriya river

East Champaran postal superintendent Satya Narayan Prasad has ordered a departmental inquiry into dumping of hundreds of original Aadhaar cards into the Oriya river near Nimoiya village under the Chiraiya police station area in the district. Locals spotted the Aadhaar cards floating in the river on Thursday. Some of them even jumped into the swollen river and fished out around 70 Aadhaar cards which were wrapped in envelops. One Nilesh Kumar, a Class X student from Nimoiya village, first spotted the Aadhaar cards floating in the river. “Most cards were to be delivered to people in Motihari town,” Nilesh added.

to get ration you need aadhaar, to get your govt recognize you as a citizen you need aadhaar. abolish this card culture that destroying people’s life.
