JVP condemns the Israeli government’s latest attack on human rights organizations

Jewish Voice for Peace is outraged by and condemns the Israeli government’s attacks on Palestinian human rights organizations and stands in solidarity with the targeted groups.

On August 18, 2022, the Israeli army attacked the offices of seven prominent Palestinian human rights and civil society organizations, including Defense for Children International Palestine, Al-Haq, the Union of Agricultural Work Committees, the Bisan Center for Research and Development, and the Union of Palestinian Women Committees. The army stole client files about victims of Israeli violence, the personal possessions of human rights workers, and welded the doors shut with iron plates.
