from Rajya Sabha Unstarred Question #420
Why so much cry for nuclear power in Indian main stream media?
Because Atomic Energy Department is the top most institution in India which does not have to do audit. DRDO and ISRO comes in second and third rank.
Unaccountable money and right to do anything for the sake national interest, what else they want? Who care about their commitment towards energy production? Indian renewable energy sector has the same output as the nuclear sector without any major support from government/corporate.
But these monsters are sucking Indian tax payers money.
