The success of their Fish Fight, Landshare, and energyshare campaigns have shown that solutions often come from grass roots action, and have the power to effect more remarkable change than we really ever imagined. Peoplefund.it builds on that momentum, and gives people the means to take their ideas forward.
Everyday chemicals can trigger increases in body fat
Chemicals found in plastics, cosmetics and industry may be altering cells in our bodies, making us more likely to get fat and develop diabetes.
A government-sponsored workshop in February of last year brought together more than 135 scientists to evaluate the science linking obesity to exposure to six chemicals; arsenic and other metals, bisphenol A, organotins and phthalates, nicotine, pesticides and pesrsistent organic pollutants.

The brand is sponsored by Vestas, a wind turbine manufacturer. The company hopes to develop a widely recognized industry trademark akin to the Fair Trade and Organic labels.
