i am from India. here it is not possible to drive a vehicle if one changes its engine. we are not allowed to do anything on the vehicle.
but in US its possible. there are a lot of information you can get it from net.

My name is Karsen. I am a 20 year old aspiring engineer. Just recently my engine in my 1998 ford Contour broke down. I am not hoping that I can find out how to convert my car to run on electricity instead of gasoline. Any information as to how i get started would be helpful??????
